Following the official announcement, EKWB has officially released its latest RGB-enabled block for liquid cooling, the Velocity D-RGB CPU water block. This particular waterblock is designed for only the Intel platform and supports both desktop and HEDT platforms ranging from the LGA 115* sockets to the Xeon supported LGA 2011, and LGA 2066 sockets.
The EKWB Velocity D-RGB water block comes equipped with addressable RGB lighting which supports popular motherboard software such as ASUS AURA RGB Sync, ASrock Polychrome, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Lighting. The water block comes in two different configurations, one with the top aluminum shroud removed which presents RGB lighting around the outside edge for a slightly more subtle look. The second configuration is with the aluminum cover removed so the top of the block is transparent allowing users to take in the full RGB goodness.
Cooling performance is engineered to be not restrict the flow of water while providing excellent thermal transfer. The copper block itself is coated in nickel to prevent corrosion or tarnishing over time.
