Patriot’s fastest DDR4 memory kit has just been announced, the Viper Steel Series DDR4 which runs at an impressive 4400MHz. The kit comes in a 2x8GB configuration and is compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms. These particular modules will be targeted at gamers and high end system builders who want to push their systems to the limit.

When these memory modules are paired with an Intel XMP 2.0 enabled motherboard, achieving 4400MHz is easy and can be achieved by changing a single setting on the motherboard. Each memory module is hand selected to ensure that stability is achieved at such high speeds.
In addition to the 4400MHz varient of the Viper Steel series DDR4, Patriot offers other speeds at different price ranges. These include 3200MHz, 4000MHz, 4133MHz.
