Amnesia: Rebirth was announced earlier this year and it seems they will live up to their word about an autumn 2020 release date. A new trailer was just released, along with an October 20th release date on PC (GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 4.
Like its predecessor, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Rebirth is a first person horror game. What’s known about the setting is that the Algerian desert will be involved, a crucial location in the franchise.
As with SOMA, Frictional Games has also been releasing live action teasers on their YouTube channel which you can see here. These teasers give us a glimpse at some strange artifacts uncovered from desert expeditions and digs, as well as the constant theme of rebirth.
