Nvidia’s RTX Quadro lineup continues to expand as information regarding the release of the Quadro RTX 4000 professional graphics card was just published. The new RTX 4000 will retail for around $900 USD and will be categorized as a mid-range graphics card in the Qradro RTX lineup coming after the Qradro RTX 8000, RTX 6000, and RTX 5000. The new RTX 4000 is based on Nvidia’s Turing TU104 architecture produced under TSMC 12nm die size.
Meet today’s demanding professional workflows with GPU accelerated ray tracing, deep learning, and advanced shading. The NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000, powered by the NVIDIA Turing architecture and the NVIDIA RTX platform, delivers best in-class performance and features in a single-slot PCIe form factor. Design and create like never before with faster time to insight and faster time to solution.
The RTX 4000 features a small overall form factor featuring a single PCIe slot design making it an ideal candidate in small workstations or blade servers. The GPU is geared with 2,304 CUDA cores, 26 RT cores, and 288 Tensor cores. Core clock speeds are unknown at this point. Over on the memory side of things, the card is equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory which operates on a 256-bit bus width.
