GELID has just announced two new flavors of 120mm RGB fans, the GELID Radiant and GELID Radiant-D which hit shelves today. The difference between the two is that the Radiant-D features programmable RGB lighting controls whereas the Radiant fans are not.
The new fans fall under GELID’s Gamer lineup of products making them specifically suited for high end system builders, modders and gamers alike. The fans feature nine circularly mounted and addressable RGB LEDs for bright and vivid optics.
The Radiant-D fans come with High Precision Shark-Tooth blade technology (watch your fingers!) with each impeller designed to deliver maximum static pressure and airflow while keeping noise levels down. The double ball bearing fan motor provides near silent operation while increasing the fan’s overall lifespan. Power interfaces with the motherboard by a 4-pin PWM motherboard connector allowing for variable speed controls from 500 to 2000 RPMs.

As each fan uses the aRGB header, popular motherboard control software such as ASUS AURA Sync and MSI Mystic Lighting are fully supported. This way users can integrate the fans with their existing RGB lighting effects and styles.
