Gigabyte has just released a brand new gaming PCI-E SSD under its AORUS brand for high end PC components which comes with all the RGBs you can handle. The AORUS RGB AIC NVMe SSD is designed to attach directly to an existing PCI-E slot in your system making it an excellent solution for PC builders rocking older systems who might not have M.2 slots available.
The new SSD ships in two different capacities, either 512GB or 1TB. The new SSD also features integrated RGBs that users can use to personalize their interior. RGB functions are controlled using ASUS Aura Sync software which will allow for syncing the RGB lighting effects and colors to the rest of the system.
Each drive comes with modern technologies such as TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. support for managing drive data as well as prolonging its life. As each capacity boasts different speeds, we’ve highlighted the differences in the table below. Overall, specs are pretty impressive. Each capacity features 3480MB/s read speeds. The 1TB model will run at a maximum of 3080MB/s while the 512GB capacity drive runs at 2100MB/s.
