site is very slow for me

im am new to this site, but the first thing i noticed is how slow it reacts to what i want, if i press the forum button to browse to the overview, it takes 5 seconds before the site reacts to me

the site also crashed my webbrowser once, as well as making youtube video's lag if i watch while on this site

my internet speed is quite good(20mbit) so it should not be caused by that, other sites just work fine
i use safari 4 now, but it is just as slow on internet explorer 8

hope it can be fixed, but i dont know if im the only one with this problem
