The Steam Awards winners
For the first time ever Valve/Steam had a community game award thing and the winners have now been posted.
What do you think should have won? Here were my picks.
"Villain in most need of a hug" - Saren from Mass Effect
"I thought this game was cool before it won an award" - Day Z (I played it when it was just a mod in 2012)
"Test of time" - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004, was a very hard choice between it and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords)
"Just 5 more minutes" - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
"Whoooooa, Dude!" - Obduction (was a very hard decision between it and The Talos Principle and SOMA)
"Game within a game" - Fallout 4 for Grognak and the Ruby Ruins
"I'm not crying, there's something in my eye" - Don't remember what I picked but The Walking Dead deserves it and it rightfully won.
"Best use of a farm animal" - Wanted to be different and chose ArmA 2.
"Boom boom" - This was not even there when I voted, so I pick Shadow Warrior 2.
"Love/hate relationship" - This also wasn't there when I voted but I choose ArmA 3 due to its garbage engine and AI, but it's a very close call between this and Skyrim.
"Sit back and relax" - XCOM 2 I guess, such an easy control scheme, can use mouse only.
"Better with friends" - ArmA 3
PS: Game of the year awards will be published here very soon!
