My trackpad has been annoying the crap out of me.

I don't know if you guys know anything about MacBooks, but my trackpad has randomly begun spazzing out, clicking random areas, zooming in and moving all about the screen without any added input. It's pretty annoying to tell you the truth. Anyone have an explanation for this? I feel like this happened after updating to the latest OS X version (10.7.1).

Your thoughts?

It's probably because it's a mac.

Visit the genuis bar?

I don't have this issue with the 10.7.1 update.

I went, and the guy told me that the SMC reset should fix it, but it didn't. I left the laptop with them today and they're going to replace the trackpad and see if that works.

If only the trackpad on my HP Elitebook worked as well as the one on a macbook.

FIFY

I have this problem right here. Good thing my daily use comp is a desktop w/ a REAL mouse. (I despise my laptop.)

To the OP, make sure your Trackpad is REALLY, REALLY CLEAN. Seriously, if any dirt or w/e gets stuck to it, the damn thing will spazz like hell.
