Sorry for the shitty res, but this is the best thing about the game. Goats.
They look like XBOX 360/PS3 quality, like many other parts of the game. I played around 40 minutes and had enough, the lame hack-and-slash combat mechanics put me off entirely and I don't see myself ever playing it again.

This screenshot isn't max graphics or with nvidia's hairworks which make the goats look magnificent. And really? I quite like the game, think it's rather awesome. Play it for the story.
Yeah I played the first two for the story, putting aside everything else which I also didn't like, but I can no longer do that it seems even though Witcher 3 does have better combat mechanics than the others.
I just saw this on another forum, I'll leave it here for those interested. This top picture is using 8x SSAA forced through RadeonPro (so it's an AMD graphics card obviously):
The one below demonstrates 8x SGSSAA, forced through NVIDIA Inspector.
Yeah... I'm glad I stuck with NVIDIA. Granted those two screenshots demonstrate different levels of visual fidelity altogether, are they even the same game? Also the AMD one looks like the SSAA isn't working at all. That's how games looked on my old 1080p monitor with no AA at all. 2x SGSSAA looks far better than that (see many of the screenshots on my profile which demonstrate 2x SGSSAA in various games).
omg terrible grafix!!!1!one! It actually has better lighting than The Witcher 3 and most other games.
You can see my frame rates are good too (single GTX 980 at 1440p). I'll spoiler tag the rest so your internet bandwidth isn't killed (strud and his invulnerable bandwidth excluded).
Fallout 4 is the new most underrated game visually. All it needs is a good high res texture pack and its own equivalent to SMIM and it's firmly within the top 10 best looking games.
Except for about 3-4 random crashes and seeing a floating cow in a house once, I've had no problems with this game at all and I've got almost 125 hours into it. We've both seen people over at OC with colossal problems and I wonder if it's because I'm still using Windows 7 Pro and most of them seem to be using 10. Just an observation.
What an incredible game ! I'm not even halfway through it and already I'm glad I bought the GOTY edition, even if I did have to buy the game a second time(on sale). It seems even better than DA O which is great considering what DA 2 was like, thanks to EA. I just arrived in Skyhold and now I think most of the rest of the DLC is unlocked(Black Emporium, Spoils of the Qunari and Spoils of the Avvar become available right away), which means I get to do it all on first playthrough. 🙂
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, particularly Seyda Neen, before and after. Before pic taken from the TES wikia site.
