Definitely wait on the SSD drive unless you have money to burn. They are still in their infancy and as they continue to develop it is likely that not only will capacity increase, read and write times improve, but price should come way down. Probably a matter of about 2 years before they are going to be mainstream. Right now they are meerley a luxury.
