SSD are the way to go. Ive got one in my laptop and not only are they faster, they give you a longer batter life. Also you can increase the lifespan of the drive with the SSD Tweak Utility. http://www.guru3d.com/news/ssd-tweak-utility/

You really should even if just for the fact thats they take way less power and last alot longer, oh and you can drop them 🙂
